Hello!

Hi! My name is Tameka (Tah-Me-Kah). As of October 2, 2026 I have taught over 2,500 lessons! I work very well with both beginner and intermediate learners! I have four simple class rules: 1. Please pay attention during class. Please don’t play video games, browse other websites, or do other activities during the lesson. 2. Parents: Please allow your child to answer the questions on their own. Please don’t give your child the answers during class, as it interferes with my teaching and makes it harder for me to accurately assess their progress. 3. Please let me know if you need to miss a lesson. I understand that unexpected things happen and that sometimes you or your child may not be able to attend. However, after two no-shows without notice, I will no longer be able to accept additional lesson requests. 4. Please sit at a desk or table during lessons. Please don’t take lessons while lying in bed or sleeping. Thank you for respecting these rules and helping me create a productive learning environment!

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my 7-year-old Chihuahua, Luna, and settling in to watch a great series or movie on Netflix. I’m a big fan of relaxing, having a good laugh, and enjoying the simple things in life!
