Adrian
Hello!
Hi, I’m Adrian. I’m originally from England, and I now live in Bulgaria. I’m an award-winning chef and a former triathlete and cyclist, and I’ve spent much of my life around people from different cultures. I actually grew up on a very small, remote island in the Pacific called Nauru, which has given me a real interest in people and conversation. I really enjoy helping adult feel more relaxed and confident when speaking English, without pressure or stress. If you’re looking for friendly, natural conversation and want to build confidence in real-life English, feel free to book a lesson and let’s chat.
I was born in Zambia to English parents and grew up on a tiny, remote island in the Pacific called Nauru. Because of this, I’ve always been surrounded by people from different cultures and backgrounds, which I really enjoy. I’ve had a passion for food and fitness from an early age, and before becoming an English tutor I worked as a 3 Rosette chef in the UK, from Scotland to London. Working in fast-paced kitchens taught me how to communicate clearly, stay calm, and work with people under pressure — skills I now bring into my lessons. I am a qualified Level 5 TEFL teacher and enjoy helping adult learners feel relaxed and confident when speaking English. I focus on natural conversation, practical vocabulary, and building confidence without stress or pressure. I also hold qualifications in massage therapy, sports massage, and physiotherapy, which helps me understand how people learn best through practice and encouragement. If you’re looking for friendly conversation, real-life English, and a supportive learning environment, I’d be happy to help.

Teaching Style
My teaching style is focused on enjoyment and learning in a relaxed way. I’m very patient and supportive, and I believe that mistakes are a natural and important part of learning. There’s no pressure in my lessons — we take our time, practise together, and build confidence step by step. I encourage students to speak freely, learn from mistakes, and move forward in a positive way. I enjoy teaching learners of all ages and levels, and I believe the best progress happens when lessons feel friendly, comfortable, and motivating. After all, learning works best when we work together.
