Hi! I am Jake, a tutor from Melbourne in Australia. I live in Thailand. I previously lived in Laos where for about two years I tutored local English language students. I can help you improve all aspects of your English skills. Hopefully soon we can have a good conversation!
I'm studying the Thai language at an intermediate level. I teach guitar part-time, I enjoy cycling in the mountains, keeping fit and healthy, I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and always like to learn something from them.

I am very friendly and patient. I speak slowly for beginners and I can tutor more advanced students. I listen very carefully to the student and help with the correct grammar and pronunciation. Making mistakes and learning from them is the best way to learn anything. The easiest way to memorize new words and grammar etc is to make your own short, simple sentences with them, read them aloud regularly, bring them to a Cambly lesson and use them in a conversation.
