Hello!
Hello everyone, my name is Tammy! I have been a nurse and educator for the last 35 years and I currently volunteer on a daily basis at our local school. I have been fortunate to have experienced many wonderful and unique events in my life and educating certainly was at the top of the list. I have taught at the college and university level as well as being invited to teach advanced nursing skills in India! I do believe that I have the education and skills to assist in many different such as medical terminology, medical procedures, health care issues, health care teaching and many topics as needed by students. I now have the time to do the things I enjoy the most which is helping others and teaching where needed. I am hoping to forge wonderful learning relationships with new friends.
After 37 years of nursing and educating I am at a wonderful time in my life that I can spend the time helping others. I am a volunteer at our local public school which I absolutely love! Every day is unique and brings about its own challenges and rewards.

I am certified in teaching and training adults and find that adult learn best by using many different techniques such as simple conversations, visual aids, discussion and role playing. Using different techniques allows the student to determine which technique works best for them.
