Hello!

Hi Cambly Students, and a very warm welcome. I'm Clive. I'm a very experienced fun and life loving teacher and trainer. I play guitar, ride motorcycles and when I was fitter, flew hang-gliders. Life is too short not to have fun and I like to have fun and learn. I speak a little German and living here in Wales I have learned some Welsh too, I like to have fun in my lessons because I find it greatly aids the learning process. I have found that meeting people with different languages and culture can make very interesting encounters and have been the source of much fun during my teaching career. I am well travelled and have conducted training courses around the world. I am well aware of the confusion that can result from differences in culture and language, even among English speaking nations. There are big differences in understanding across England too. I find seeing the funny side of these differences is a great help both to learning and to helping to make a relaxing environment within which a student can feel secure enough to make mistakes and to learn. I particularly enjoy helping students to improve their pronounciation. It can be difficult across the entire world, but very rewarding and a great deal of fun!
